Island & Floating Home Community under construction in Amsterdam

A huge area of the Amsterdam Lagoon has now been in-filled to create land for development as wells a safe and environmentally pleasing water filled dock. Into this are being placed a mixture of 200 units of Luxury Floating Villa’s as well as low cost rental units providing much needed housing in an area of great shortage of suitable land. An entire network of pontoons, roads, pathways have been laid creating and exciting and dynamic place to live where once there was nothing. Flood control and management has been designed into the whole project from the outset.
