JAMES JACKSON GRUNDY - WEAVER PACKET - 31.8m x 6.9m - £69,000 (€98,877) FURTHER REDUCTION TO £50,000 (€67,000)  Built 1948 by W.J. YAWOODS of Northwich, this beautiful old lady of the sea is a real treasure. “James Jackson Grundy” is a rare survivor of the Golden Age of British Shipbuilding when vessels were built for local trade and for specific purpose. She has been lovingly restored to her former glory by her “enthusiast owner” and has had literally thousand of pounds spent on her. The vessel is in excellent condition and ready to sail and does have occasional outings for promotional work etc. The vessel could remain as an entirely original piece of Maritime Heritage much as she is now or alternatively and perhaps a way to keep her going she could be converted in her hold space to provide beautifully spacious and character living accommodation. Certainly for someone looking for a unique maritime living environment she would make a superb base vessel. Without doubt this magnificent Old Lady must be preserved and she will certainly appeal to anyone interested in owning a vessel as unique as she is – a English Maritime “Grandma” but still able to put a show on for the boy’s. Crossley 268 hp direct reverse  2 stroke diesel eng. Crossley genset. Original crew accom.
