MAGDALENA ESB 278 – MOTORKLIPPER - 22.76m x 4.92m - €265,000 (£178,812) This is a real beauty. She simply oozes character and will immediately appeal to anyone seeking a Dutch Barge that just has that special feel to her. Very traditional in style internally she has also retained her original looks (apart from her sailing rig) outside. SE 46113- Ex Steam Steilsteven 22.81 x 4.30 m- €85,000 (£77,173)- Built in 1902 as a steam barge trading between Enkhuizen and Stavoren and then used as a bunker barge. Originally converted in 1990 since then she has undergone a refit and is now a comfortable live aboard cruiser. DAF 120hp Diesel, Hydraulic steering, 12,24 and 220 volt electrics, well fitted galley, one double cabin forward and one single under the wheelhouse, Victron charger 120a and 1200 watt Atlas converter, Lister Generator. A historic, traditional looking barge.

SE 17700 – Tjalk – 22.85m x 5.00m x 1.00m - €180,000 (£154,800) Nice lined sturdy Tjalk, built by Van Goor in Zwartsluis, Netherlands. Perfect for living on board, ready to go. The good looking interior offers lots of light and space. Marble tiled bathroom and good galley. A double berth in owner’s cabin and 2 single berths in the aft ship, DAF 105 Hp engine and silent pack genset. Between 2006 and 2009: new benches in salon, 2 x boiler, tarpaulin with skylight, all windows replaced for double glazing, day tank for diesel main engine and in1999 a new galley was fitted. “LA LAVANDE” - STEILSTEVEN -  23.00m x 4.20m x 0.90m -  $525,000 (£ 362,250) Designed and built by an American couple with long experience on the canals it is the compilation of what they learned a barge should incorporate. Like many Katwijker’s she has a horizontal wheel giving her exceptionally low air-draft allowing her to pas under low fixed bridges. Converted 1989 and sailed to South of France.
